We didn't catch the Neighborhood Ball, Sophie and I are watching American Idol. It's something we do every year. She loves it and I can say i do too.



We did manage to catch President Barack Obama 2009 Inauguration and Address. It was inspiring. Sophie and I watched it on the computer. Sophie is obsessed with Sasha Obama, thinks she's "sooooooooooooooooo beautiful" she wants to be Sasha, has even named some of her dolls Sasha. She was so excited she had on pink. Says they live in a big white castle.

How could this happen? Why do these cops have guns? This is such a horrible way to start the new year. I hope this officer goes to jail and rots.

Walmart announced that, sometime in 2009, it will begin offering customers a new discount item ---- Walmart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery of California to produce the spirits at an affordable price, in the $1 - $2 range.

Wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to put a bottle of Walmart brand into their shopping carts, but "there is a market for inexpensive wine," said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at the University of Arkansas. "But the right name is important."

Customer surveys were conducted to determine the most attractive name for the Walmart wine brand. The ten top names were:

After all we gave these to him, um... i mean Santa.
Mac is down right obsessed with these 4 inch bears. He has to bring them everywhere he goes. We negotiate on car trips. All of them tag a long into each and ever room he goes. They watch TV with him. Go down his slide. Go for rides on cars, strollers and his new shopping cart. I'm glad he's not potty training right now. I can't imagine them all in the bathroom with us. On occasion i have to change their diapers. Sometimes all of them at once decide to poop! Usually when Mac is avoiding me. I think it was Pats idea to change their diapers too. Thanks a lot Pat!
So i have no recollection of this TV show from the 80's. Which is crazy because i am 80's TV girl, the perfect age to have seen practically ever show made. Cartoons were so packed with meaning and consequences. They all had morals and lessons. And i'm sure i would of watched the Care bears. But i guess i missed the boat, I was probably past toons and into family ties... I LOVED that show. I would of collected little Tina Yothers dolls had they made them.
